In the Autumn of 2019, a newly restored Mk.IX Spitfire will be making a ‘Round the World’ flight piloted by Matt Jones from Boultbee Flight Academy. The ‘Silver Spitfire Longest Flight’ is being sponsored by IWC Schaffhausen (Swiss watch manufacturer).

In the autumn of 2018, Fighteraces were contacted by a London based film company who required a large scale flying model Spitfire to be used in the production of a short promotional film.
